Bhumi Pujan of Indrawas Kuer Memorial Intermediate College, which was presided by Rai Bahadur Babu Bhagwati Saran Singh and his younger cousin Rai Bahadur Vindeshwari Saran Singh, at Anapur, Allahabad. (Hindi daily: Saptahik Nyaya March 24, 1941)
The IKM Intermediate College was started in the memory of Smt Indrwas Kuer, mother of Maharani Janki Kuer of Bettiah and her brother Rai Bahadur Vindeshwari Saran Singh. The college premises and buildings were donated by Rai Bahadur Babu Bhagwati Saran Singh , his younger cousin Rai Bahadur Vindeshwari Saran Singh, Maharani Janki Kuer of Bettiah and other members of Anapur family.

Allahabad Agricultural Institute and Anapur estate

Dr Sam Higginbottom the founder of Allahabad Agricultural Institute was a close friend of Rai Bahadur Babu Bhagwati Saan Singh. Rai Bahadur sahib was a man ahead of his times. He practiced agriculture in the most scientific way and also maintained a dairy cattle farm which was scientifically planned. Seeds, implements and sometimes cattle (red Sindhi and other breeds) for Anapur estate were procured from Allahabad Agricultural Institute.

This is a group photograph taken on the occasion of the At Home in honour of Sri Krishna Babu, the premier of Bihar, at Chandra Bhawan, 11 Outram Road Allahabad. Sri Krishna Babu later went on to become the first chief minister of Bihar. Sitting next to Sri Krishna Babu (centre, with a gandhi cap) is the host, Rai Bahadur Babu Bhagwati Saran Singh of Anapur. Also seen in the picture sitting third from right is Dr (Sir) Pt Ganganath Jha, the vice Chancellor of Allahabad University and sanskrit University, Benares, and on the extreme left is Rai Bahadur Vindeshwari Saran Singh, cousin of the host.
